Tayfen Road Developments Ltd is seeking outline planning permission for residential use (215 dwellings) and a 60 bed care home on land off Tayfen Road, Bury St Edmunds.
Tayfen Road Development Ltd is also working with St Edmundsbury Borough Council to agree an updated Masterplan for the area, which includes the application site together with the gas storage land owned by National Grid.
The Masterplan document was consulted upon in October 2015 and is the final document is now being agreed with St Edmundsbury Borough Council for Adoption.
We previously held a public exhibition for the outline planning application in March 2015, and a public exhibition for the Masterplan in October 2015, to provide more information on the proposals.

The consultation period for the Masterplan finished on Wednesday 28th October 2015. The Masterplan will now begin its process for adoption by St Edsmundbury Borough Council.
The planning application was submitted in March 2015 and has been validated by St Edmundsbury Borough Council. For commercial reasons, the outline planning application was submitted before the Masterplan. If required, amendments will be made to the outline planning application after submission, to ensure that the proposals fully conform with the Masterplan.
